There's a problem with this platform. And if you like my science videos, I need your input on something. It would really help. And please watch this to the end and comment something so that the mighty algorithm actually shows this to my followers. Now, my whole mission here is to help you guys improve your lives through practical applied science. This includes full reviews of old research, applying cool new research, and debunking claims made based on bad research, or no research, or just nothing. I especially love a good experiment where I can take a paper, pull out something practical from it, and then run a personal experiment where I actually test that type of prediction and see if it can help me. And by extension, teach you guys how to do the same. But here's the problem. I can spend months researching a topic like, is red light good for you? Where I read hundreds of research papers and condense it down, but if I don't resort to annoying clickbait, then it could be that only 1% of you actually see that video. Which leads us to number two, which is that nuance is impossible here. But good science almost never deals in absolutes. Only a Sith deals in absolutes. For example, red light does work. but it works for different things in different ways and at different doses and too much can be bad for you, and it's a whole detailed thing that requires a lot more than a 30-second video to go into. That video is coming now. But I've actually paused most of my consulting work and startup work to spend more time doing fun deep dives for you guys. But New York rent is PTSD waiting to happen, and I don't really like taking on sponsors because I prefer to be as objective as possible. So going forward, I want to share a lot more long-form stuff with you guys that really gets into the weeds. off, so in the meantime, which of these would you rather? Written articles, long-form YouTube videos, a podcast, long Q&A sessions, and would you be interested in joining an online community where you can connect with fellow science lovers and pool your research and share and critique and have a lot of fun. It might be free, it might be paid, it might be both. I'm not really sure yet. So comment with your preference order plus yes or no, like this. And for updates as soon as I launch any of the above, sign up here and I'll be doing a special live Q&A event for the first hundred who sign up.
