The way I ended up partnering with NerdWallet for this video is pretty funny. If you don't already know, NerdWallet is a website that helps consumers make better financial decisions. They've got a whole team of writers and editors who have spent thousands of hours researching and reviewing financial products, like credit cards, loans, savings accounts, and more. They go deep, just like I do with health-related gadgets and compounds. My father is a physicist, and from the age of four years old, after I got over wanting to be a horse, I would always answer the, what do you want to be questioned, with an inventor who will live forever. A few years and a graduate degree later, not much has changed. apply my scientific mindset towards doing crazy in-depth research before making pretty much any decision in life. So a few days ago, I was planning a vacation to Mexico with my girlfriend, our first in over six years, and I heard about a trick to get free nights at a five-star resort by signing up for a new credit card. I had the NerdWallet site already pulled up at my computer, comparing different credit cards, looking at intro offers and reading reviews, when I got a text from my brand manager saying, hey, did you see that NerdWallet wants to work with you? They just want you to talk about a time when they helped you make a financial decision. and smarter financial decisions, I do in fact turn to the nerds at NerdWallet.
