Transcript

All right, book talk, I need your help. I feel like I've read every single genuine five-star fantasy book ever published. Some examples of what I would consider five-star fantasy being Stormlight Archive, Name of the Wind, Black PRISM series, Lies of Black Lamora, stuff like that. I have gone through good reads and sorted everything by four stars. I've looked at some recommendations, but I need you to comment what books you would find to be on that level that may not be the first ones everyone would think of. Go.

Additional notes

Some added notes: I don’t like MCs with no agency (eg Robin Hobb or Magicians), and also I have a hard time with how dark and gritty Joe Abercrombie gets (even though I enjoy his prose) On my to-do list is finish Malazan Book of the Fallen, but I got halfway through the first time and those books daunting to read-read #booktok #scifi #fantasy
